About the Wedding Dress
Nicole’s Vera Wang wedding dress is gorgeous! Made of synthetic mikado, the dress has a lovely touch of 3D organza flowers. The flowers are made of velveteen leaves and netting ribbon. There are also flowers made of organza and the dress features layers of tulle.
When we received the wedding dress, it was slightly dirty inside the bodice, with dirty hemlines. Nicole, like many brides, was also concerned with oxidation and fumes.
The Wedding Gown Preservation Process
This Vera Wang wedding dress is now protected for years to come.
To treat the wedding dress, we first hand cleaned the wedding gown using our wet process. We also spot cleaned the veil and hand pressed the gown. Finally, we used the Museum Method preservation and at Nicole’s request, including a wedding photograph on the label.
Nicole is now able to rest easy, knowing that her wedding dress will be protected for years to come!
