Kathryn’s perfect dress!

-Style:
Strapless, low back, fit and flare
-Color:
Ivory with tea-stained color underlay
-Materials:
Lace (bodice front and back and then down the side) and tulle (ruched across the middle then lots of layers/fuller at the bottom)
-Bustle:
“We added buttons and made an over bustle.”
SOMETHING OLD: “My mom handmade my garter for me using old pieces of my dad’s mother’s wedding dress and a gold cross with a little diamond in it from a necklace that my mom’s mom gave me when I was a little girl.”
SOMETHING NEW: “My veil – it was long, simple tulle – and mom also handmade it for me.”
SOMETHING BORROWED: Two vintage diamond bracelets.
SOMETHING BLUE: “We had the wedding date monogrammed into the underneath lining of the dress and I also carried a vintage handkerchief that we had my initials monogramed in blue – both the same color as my bridesmaid dresses (which were by Jenny Yoo in Mayan Blue – kind of a steely-grayish blue).”
SHOES: “I started in Jimmy Choos, then switched to cowboy boots about halfway through the reception.”
EARRINGS: Purchased at Bhldn, vintage-style crystal chandeliers with single pearl at the bottom.
“For the reception I took off my veil and added a champagne-colored Monique Lhuillier sash. it was simple and had a more matte than shiny finish. It complimented the dress’ slightly darker underlay perfectly!”
