My dress was designed and hand made by Jinza in San Francisco http://jinza.net/. Jinza Jin makes extraordinary couture bridal gowns. I knew I wanted to use the lace from my mothers wedding dress. My mother had worn a hand made short french blue lace dress with a cropped jacket and pill box hat to match when she and my father were married in 1958.
When my mother passed away in 1993 I was the keeper of the dress. When my husband and I got engaged I knew I wanted to somehow incorporate her dress into mine, but I didn’t know exactly how it would all come together and in what style.
When I began looking for dresses my first stop was Jinza and she had a vision for what she thought would look fantastic on my shape and how she wanted to include each inch of the french blue lace, I never looked back. Jinza did such a beautiful and stunning job, my dress is truly amazing, it is an heirloom and I look forward to my nieces or a future daughter wearing it for their wedding.
