Belgium welcomed a new Princess in July when she married Prince Amadeo, who is sixth in line for the crown. Italian Elisabetta Maria Rosboch von Wolkenstein looked stunning on her big day. Princess Elisabetta’s lace Valentino gown was gorgeous as it swept across the floor. The dress has intricate lace detail throughout it’s entirety and an the illusion neckline.
Princess Elisabetta also wore the Queen Elisabeth Diamond Bandeau Tiara, which belongs to the Belgian royal family, making Elisabetta look especially princess-like. Prince Amadeo’s grandmother, Queen Paola, inherited the tiara. It was last worn by Belgium’s current queen, Queen Mathilde.
Four hundred and fifty guests attended the celebration, including members of the Belgium royal family, and Prince Harry’s and Prince William’s cousin, Princess Beatrice of York.

After getting engaged in February, Princess Elisabetta and Prince Amadeo were blessed by the Pope at the Vatican, along with hundreds of other couples. Less than five months later, the couple married at one one of Rome’s oldest churches, The Basilica of Our Lady in Trastevere. The couple had been dating for eight years and met while they were each going to school in London. Elisabetta attended Queen Mary University and studied film and literature, while Prince Amadeo attended the London School of Economics. Princess Elisabetta currently works under the name Lili Rosboch as a reporter for Bloomberg News’ cultural section. Prince Amadeo recently earned his MBA at Columbia University.

Elisabetta is the only daughter of two Italian producers, Nob. Ettore Rosboch von Wolkenstein and Countesss Lilia Smecchia. Elisabetta’s father is also an heir to a pharmaceutical fortune.
Prince Amadeo, Archduke of Austria-Este, is heir to the headship of the House of Austria-Este, a cadet branch of the Habsburg-Lorraine. After his grandfather, King Albert II, abdicated last year, Amadeo’s uncle, King Phillippe ascended the throne.
